I've been described as an Aussie Neil Young. I could certainly do worse, I suppose! We're always trying to fit music into genres - folk, blues, country, roots. To me, its just Aussie! Is it really even that important? If loving the country you grew up in and writing about it makes it country - so be it! If writing stories makes it folk - so be it!
Maybe from a marketing point of view music needs to be classified, promoted and targeted to a specific audience... or does it?
Perhaps, it's cool just to put it out there for all and sundry and just see what happens.
Don't forget to join, before you leave and remember...
Keep the music fresh!
